Zimbabwe Warriors will soon know about their opponents when the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers, Africa Zone, Group Stage draw will be held on 21 January in Egypt.
The Warriors are placed in Pot 3 following a last minute win over Somalia in Harare last year after the little known Ocean Stars did the unthinkable and silenced thousands of Zimbabwe fans before Khama Billiat scored a winner for the hosts in injury time.
The seeding was based on FIFA Rankings released in December 2019.
The 40 teams will be put into ten groups of four and will then play home and away to determine the pool winners who will play-off against one of the other 10 pool winners for the five spots Fifa has allotted to Caf for the Qatar World Cup in 2022.
Here are the African Pots for Group Stages Draw.
