There was chaos in Harare Central Business District early today as Zimbabwe Republic Police and and vendors engaged in running battles.
Vendors were throwing stones at the police who got reinforcements and retaliated with their button sticks, chasing away everyone within vicinity.
City fathers and authorities have been at loggerheads with traders since July 30 elections.
The recent cholera deaths gave government more reasons to push vendors out of Harare CBD.
