HARARE: Zanu PF Matebeleland South province has fired State Security minister, Kembo Muhadi, for associating with the former Vice President, Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Mnangagwa was fired from government on Monday.
Mugabe accused his long time ally of disloyalty.
The province recommended the expulsion of 15 senior party members who include Cdes Kembo Mohadi, his estranged wife Tambudzani, Abednico Ncube and Obedingwa Mguni for cavorting with the former VP.
While there is not yet any official announcement, a government source based in Harare said Mugabe is on a merciless rampage that has also claimed the scalps of Emmerson Mnangagwa, Oppah Muchinguri, Patrick Chinamasa and a feared soldier believed to be General Constantine Chiwenga.
Last week this publication exclusively revealed that Mnangagwa had planned a post Mugabe government headed by him with Morgan Tsvangirai, Constantine Chiwenga and Kembo Mohadi completing the Dream Team…see >> Mnangagwa’s plan to rule Zim with PM Tsvangirai….,Chiwenga & Mohadi as VPs

It appears Mugabe’s guns are aimed at these individuals and their close associates in Zanu PF.
There is rumour that General Chiwenga was fired yesterday but is still hanging on for dear life after he refused to vacate office.
Our government source said Mugabe is carrying out a massive bloodless clean-up campaign with the support of party hardliners and no nonsense enforcers from the dreaded Central Intelligence Organisation(CIO).
