Zimbabwe People First ‘ZimPF’ sets War Vets body

The Joice Mujuru led political party, Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF) has set up a war vets body similar to Zanu PF.

The reason for this is to use the power and influence of the war vets in order to drum up support ahead of Zimbabwe 2016 presidential and general elections.

War Vets are the corner stone of Zanu PF survival and ZimPF feels the need to use them for elections and political purposes in order to get relevancy in proliberation Zimbabwe.

The new war vets body will be called Freedom Fighters.

“We will call them Freedom Fighters and they will not be an affiliate. They are a structure of the party just like the main wing, youth league and women’s league,” said Rugare Gumbo the party’s spokesperson.
