Mnangagwa to give speech this afternoon

Incoming Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa will make an address today at Zanu PF HQ, Zimnewsnet can reveal.

Mnangagwa who returns to the country today following the fall of longtime ally Robert Mugabe will be welcomed by hundreds of people at Manyame Military Airbase this afternoon.

Meanwhile Zimbabwe’s parliamentary speaker says he has been formally notified by the ruling Zanu-PF party that Emmerson Mnangagwa will be sworn in as president on Friday.
