A Coventry based woman who reportedly shot Harare businessman, MacCloud Zvavaviri Mapanga two weeks ago after a domestic dispute has appeared at Harare magistrate court for routine remand.
Prosecuting, Sebastian Mutizirwa applied that the matter be remanded to June 12 pending indictment from the High Court.
Bridget Makaza who was denied bail at the High Court appeared before Harare magistrate Edwin Marecha who remanded the matter to June 12.
It is the State’s case that Makaza, 34, found out that Mapanga, who owned Kurai Buses, had married a another wife and the couple had a long standing marital dispute.
According to State papers allegations are that on May 14, at around 3am Makaza took advantage that her husband was asleep, she took a gun and used it to shoot him on the neck and shoulder.
After the offence, she screamed raising an alarm and feigned an armed robbery alleging that Mapanga had been shot by armed robbers.
