Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Minister, Kazembe Kazembe has officially opened the 2022 Senior Officers’ Conference which got underway in the capital, Harare this Wednesday morning.
While confirming the development on Twitter, Government spokesperson, Ndavaningi ‘Nick’ Mangwana said:
“The @PoliceZimbabwe is holding a 2022 Senior Officers’ Conference. It has been officially opened by the Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Hon @KazembeKazembe3. All Top-cops are in attendance”
The 2022 edition of the Senior Officers’ Conference comes at a time when the police has been blamed for rampant corruption and siding with the ruling Zanu PF party ahead of synchronized elections expected in a few months’ time.
