Exiled Zanu PF politician Mr Saviour Kasukuwere is now in Zimbabwe, a confidential government source exclusively revealed to zwnews this morning.
The source could however not divulge further information on how he returned when there is already a warrant of arrest issued against him by the Mnangagwa government.
Kasukuwere himself gave thumbs up to a message from Mutumwa Mawere that said:
Kasukuwere jetting back to Zimbabwe. Have you heard the news? As it happens. That must be good for
@Hon_Kasukuwere – home is the best. Welcome back if that is true!
There is speculation that he may takeover leadership of the National Patriotic Front currently headed in the interim by retired brigadier-general Ambrose Mutinhiri.
But his allies in diaspora including Patrick Zhuwao have revealed that he is returning after getting assurance from the military backed government that he will not face any prosecution if he agrees to work for them in the upcoming elections.
