Jilted blesser destroys ex-girlfriend’s property

Tinashe Zisengwe

A man from Chipinge failed to move on with life after being dumped by a girl who he was taking care of resulting in destroying all the property he bought for her during the ‘Romeo and Juliet’ moments.

The court heard that sometime in January Samuel Moyana (37) of Gaza, Chipinge pounced at her ex-lover’s house at around 2100hrs in the same neighbourhood.

He then started demanding his property back including a bed, full 21 inch television set a two plate stove among other various items.

The woman did not refuse, but while in the process of taking some of the stuff outside, Moyana then violently entered the house and started breaking all the property.

The complainant then ran to file a police report, when she returned home the Blesser had finished destroying all the property.

Appearing before Chipinge Magistrate Vhusomusi Gapara facing malicious damage of property Moyana pleaded guilty to the charge.

However, he pleaded for lenience arguing that he was stone drunk when he destroyed the property.

Moyana was remanded in custody awaiting trial for a later date.
