Zimbabwe’s Warriors returned today from Gabon Africa Cup of Nations.

They were welcomed at Harare International Airport by  President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Zimbabwe finished the Gabon Afcon 2017 campaign with a single point after drawing 2-2 with Algeria in the opening match and losing  2 nil to Senegal and 4-2 to Tunisia in the last Group B match.

Team captain Willard Katsande resigned following the Tusia game.

It is still not known if coach Kalisto Pasuwa will keep his job that he has been guaranteed or he will look for something else.

The bulky of Zimbabwe’s players who took part in the tournament are in their mid 20s and will be expected to feature again for the national soccer side.
