Illicit alcohol dealer fatally slaps customer over $2 beer debt

An illicit alcohol seller has been arrested for allegedly killing his long time customer for failing to set off a $2 debt.

The recent incident that has left tongues wagging occurred in Chegutu with local police reported to have picked the ” gologo ” beer (strong stuff) vendor for questioning following the death of an alcoholic he assaulted for failing to pay credit.

Allegations are that the beer vendor met the deceased only referred to as Kennedy and started demanding his $2 debt.

Kennedy however failed to give a satisfactory answer leading to him being slapped twice on the right cheek.

The deceased then proceeded to make a police report, on his way back he collapsed and died prompting police to intervene.

The alleged murderer could not be immediately identified
