Ignatius Chombo faces 12 -year jail term… Fingered In Nehanda Cooperative Scam

It never rains but it pours for former Zanu PF bigwig Ignatius Chombo who has been fingered in a massive land scam in the Nehanda Housing Cooperative in Dzivarasekwa with revelations that he took multiple stands which were developed using housing cooperative beneficiary’s funds.

Chombo if convicted might be jailed for up to 12 years.

This came to light during the Commission of Inquiry into the sale of state land in and around urban areas since 2005 currently underway in Harare.

presenting evidence on the operations of Nehanda Housing Cooperative to the Land Commision recently,cooperative members exposed the former minister for conniving with the former executive of the cooperative and took multiple stands which were developed using the beneficiaries funds…this is a developing story …more to follow …Zbcnewsonline
