IDENTIFICATION CRISIS: Man’s body ground to pieces after hit and run

The Zimbabwe Police (ZRP) in Marondera are investigating a fatal hit-and-run road traffic accident in which an unknown man died after being hit by an unknown motorist at the 85 km peg along Harare-Mutare Road on 28/02/23.

The victim was subsequently ran over by several vehicles resulting in his body being reduced to pieces.

The police is calling on anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station.

Meanwhile, on 28/02/23, police arrested 501 people across the country on operation on the enforcement of route permits and time-tables for public service vehicles (PSVs).

This brings the cumulative figure of arrests to 5 172.

In yet other news, on 28/02/23, police in Kadoma acted on received information and arrested Letwin Javhure (28) and Fadzai Musindo (41) in connection with unlawful possession of 16 plastic bags containing dagga.

The value and weight of the dagga is yet to be ascertained.
