I had opened church to make money, pastor closes church after winning ‘lotto’

A pastor from Uganda closed down his church after winning US$26 000 from sports betting.

He had bet US$265.

“I must admit that I opened this church due to greed, not anointing. I saw how several pastors make money through the crowds they have & making fake prophesies to attract more.”

Apparently, many people even in Zimbabwe have opened churches for money rather than religious conviction.

This has led to most churches being classified as gosrepreneurships.

People like United Family International Church founder Emmanuel Makandiwa and Prophetic Healing Deliverance leader Walter Magaya have been acussed of being after money than anything else.

They have been said to be prosperity gospel preachers who are after material things.
