She says he bashed her in front of their child and taunted her endlessly saying he bought her for US$18 000. “Ndofira here 18 000.” She confirmed she took some money and fled to the diaspora. She denied that the child was sick or she was with another man.
A Harare businessman, Blessing Togarasei, is searching for his wife, Natasha Chamisa, and their child who disappeared two weeks after their wedding ceremony, following US$18 000 lobola payments two years ago.
Despite attempting to reconcile after the birth of their child in 2021, they were unable to work things out, and Blessing has not seen or heard from Natasha since.
He has been circulating a message on social media asking for information about their whereabouts and has threatened to sue anyone staying with them for US$1 million. Natasha later approached the Civil Court for maintenance, but Blessing is still searching for them.
Blessing has not yet responded to abuse allegations levelled against him by his wife.
