This morning zwnews.com received many messages from concerned citizens over the health of MDC President Mr Morgan Tsvangirai.
People asked questions about his health situation and condition after they stumbled upon information suggesting that something terrible might have happened to Mr Tsvangirai.
Now there is a statement from Morgan Tsvangirai’s spokesperson, Luke Tamborinyoka, clearly stating that the internet rumours(about Tsvangirai’s death) should be dismissed with contempt.
Morgan Tsvangirai is alive and well, according to his party spokesperson.
“Today, Sunday 22 January 2017, he will address a provincial council in Gwanda. Tomorrow, he will be in Binga in Matabeleland North province, conversing with ordinary Zimbabweans about the future of our country,” he said.
Tsvangirai’s health has been on spotlight ever since he publicly announced that he was unwell and receiving treatment for colon cancer.
