Honor Mnangagwa If You Want To Live Longer: Bishop Nehemiah Mutendi Instructs ZCC Congregants

Zion Christian Church (ZCC) Bishop Nehemiah Mutendi has called on his congregants to honor President Emmerson Mnangagwa as God’s appointee to lead Zimbabwe.

Mutendi went on to equate honoring leaders with honoring one’s parents as is said in the Biblical commandments saying that this would allow people to live longer.

Speaking at this year’s Easter conference at Mbungo in Bikita yesterday, Bishop Mutendi is quoted in the Sunday News as saying,

We have church stewards who have been elected in the districts and provinces. We do not expect you not to honour community leaders like chiefs, district administrators appointed by President Emmerson Mnangagwa. We also expect you to honour our President as the leader of the country. The Bible says, ‘we should honour our parents so that we can live longer on earth.
