Security forces to deal with Covid 19 regulations violators without fear or favour- says Home Affairs Minister Kazembe Kazembe

The Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage Kazembe Kazembe is currently addressing a press conference on the country’s Enhanced Covid-19 National Lockdown Enforcement Measures.

The briefing is being held at the Munhumutapa Building’s Boardroom and he expected to announce tightened measures as the Covid 19 third wave continues to ravage the country.

Kazembe said the country’s security forces will ensure strict adherence to the Covid 19 measures, adding that offenders will be dealt with in accordance with the country’s laws.

He urged fellow citizens to inform police should they come across these violations, adding that weddings and all other public gatherings remains banned for the duration of level 4 lockdown except for funerals of which 30 people are allowed.
