A Darwendale man Ivor Butau (37) was recently arraigned before the courts for stock theft.
It is the court’s case that sometime in September 2024, the accused took advantage of his employer’s absence and stole two bulls from the herd.
He went on to slaughter them and was later caught selling the meat.
This followed police tip-off by some members of the public.
