Heavily criticised, Mnangagwa abandons private jet, flies out aboard Air Zim

President Emmerson Mnangagwa today flew struggling national carrier, Air Zimbabwe, to King Shaka International Airport in Durban, South Africa, for the Intra-African Trade Fair.

President Mnangagwa recently flew to Scotland for COP26 summit using an expensive jet.

For some, to make matters worse he flew with 130 people, a move seen as waste of taxpayers’ money.

Apparently, after being heavily criticised for hiring costly private jets for trips out of the country. This time around he used Air Zimbabwe.
