A UK based Zimbabwean nurse, Bridget Makaza, who is accused of fatally shooting her bus operator husband in Harare has been granted bail by the High Court.
Makaza(34), is said to have shot her husband MacCloud Mapanga to death following a marital dispute.
She was initially denied bail by a Harare magistrate.
However, her bid to get freedom was successful when High Court Judge Justice Foroma granted her bail pending trial.
She was ordered to pay $100 bail through the Harare Magistrates’ Clerk of Court and to report thrice a week at Warren Park Police Station.
