Gweru teacher fond!es student’s breasts for 30 minutes in car

The cameras will not stop rolling at Guinea Fowl High School, Gweru at least for now, as the institution is now known for abuse of students as at one point an English teacher assaulted a Form Two pupil, this time around a Physics teacher is alleged to have caressed a Form Six pupil.  

Adam Gwatiringa, who resides at the institution’s compound appeared in court for indecent assault after he fondled the breasts of a school pupil and kissed her.

Gweru magistrate Judith Taruvinga did not ask the teacher to plead and remanded him out of custody on $50 bail.

Prosecuting, Gracious Rongai told the court that on February 14 at around 2pm the complainant (name withheld) aged 17 was sent to town to buy relish by her female teacher Isheanoziva Harriet Gumbo.

The complainant was given a lift by Gwatiringa who was also going to town.

He dropped the complainant in town and called her when he was about to go back to school and they met at ZRP central police station for the return trip.

During the drive back, Gwatiringa diverted route heading to Mvuma, where he stopped the car by the road side and fondled the pupil’s breasts for almost 30 minutes before kissing her on the neck.

He went on to put his hand in between her thighs as he drove.

The complainant reported the matter to her two female teacher when she arrived at the school and she also told her parents about the matter.

The matter was reported to the police leading to Gwatiringa’s arrest.
