Gvt reviews maize, traditional grains producer prices

The government has reviewed upwards the prices for maize, traditional grains, soybeans and sunflower.

Speaking during post cabinet meeting, the Ministry of Agriculture informed the nation that Cabinet approved the prices as follows:

a) maize floor producer price be ZW$75,000.00/MT, b) traditional grains floor producer price be ZW$75,000.00/MT and soya bean floor producer price be set at ZW$ 171,495/MT.

d) sunflower floor producer price be set at ZW$205,794.52/MT.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Primary & Secondary Education said it is currently preparing for the safe reopening of schools on 3 May, 2022 in full compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures.

The Ministry said this is being done for the Prevention & Management of Covid19 as well as other Influenza-like illness.
