GRUESOME|| Mwenezi Man Killed On The Spot

In a sad incident, a Mwenezi villager was killed by three suspected murderers following a misunderstanding at a District Market Day last Sunday evening.

According to press reports, Sehesa Zhou from Makwara Village, Headman Gwenzi under Chief Mazetese in Mwenezi died after he was killed by three suspects; Tovimba Shumba of Makwara Village, a second person only identified as also from Makwara Village and the third person is yet to be identified.

While confirming the gruesome murder, Masvingo Provincial Police Spokesperson Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa said the incident happened at around 1730hrs last Sunday.

Inspector Dhewa told the Mirror that the three accused murderers had a misunderstanding with the deceased Zhou over an unknown issue.

It is alleged that Shumba struck Zhou on the back below of the left shoulder with an unidentified weapon and he fell down bleeding profusely.

Following the attack, Zhou died on the spot.

The three accused persons ran away and the report was filed at ZRP Sovelele in Mwenezi, the Mirror reported.
