In a suspected murder case, the body of an unknown man was found in a drainage in the second city of Bulawayo, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has said.
In a statement pposted on their official Twitter handle this Tuesday afternoon, the ZRP said that they are:
“…investigating a suspected murder case where a body of an unknown male adult was found in drainage along Fort Street between 4th and 5th Avenue, Bulawayo. The head was immersed in water with hands folded to the chest.”
The police could, however, not shed more light on the matter.
In another case, said the ZRP, Police in Madziwa are investigating an attempted murder case where a 33-year old complainant was attacked by an unknown suspect at a funeral Thursday last week.
Police say the incident occurred on 24/03/22 at about 0010 hours at Hove Village, Chief Mutumba.
The victim is currently admitted in a local hospital with serious body injuries.
