President Robert Mugabe and his wife Grace were welcomed by the host ahead of the the 4th Africa-Arab World Summit, taking place in Sipopo.
The two were the first delegation of leaders to land at the capital’s international airport.
Robert Gabriel Mugabe and the First Lady, Grace were met by the President of the Republic, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, and the First Lady, Constancia Mangue, who provided a warm reception for their counterparts from Zimbabwe.
The Government, led by the Prime Minister, Charged with Administrative Coordination, Francisco Pascual Obama Asue, and other local authorities, formed the entourage of figures who went to welcome the Mugabes.
The hall of honour at the presidential terminal was where the two presidential couples exchanged their first impressions regarding the 4th summit taking place in Sipopo.
Mugabe is under pressure from his subordinates back home to retire and handover power to a junior.
He is now travelling on a monthly bases at a time when Zimbabwe’s economy is falling apart.
