You will never rule, Grace Mugabe told

Zimbabwe is in a desperate need for change and its high time the country ‘s leadership listen to the demands of the citizens, PDP leader Tendai Biti has said.

Biti moaned the current state of things in Zimbabwe while addressing a rally in Harare last week.

“Our country has been under Robert Mugabe for 36 years, Mugabe throughout. It is completely unacceptable. It is against the law of nature because the laws of nature demand change and Mugabe is defying the laws of nature,” he said.

Biti urged the people to stop Mugabe from creating a family dynasty as his wife is now angling  for power.

“Our simple message to Robert Mugabe is please go now. This country does not belong to the Mugabe dynasty. Don’t think that Grace(Mugabe’s wife) will rule this country. Don’t think that your children will rule this country. Takajamuka,” Biti said.

Biti’s message is in sharp contrast with Grace’s statements stating that ‘Mugabe is there forever, he will even be ruling from the grave’.

The Zimbabwe First Lady even made it clear that she will not be vacating the country’s presidential palace soon.
