The government has published a Statutory Instrument (SI) to suspend Water Levy.
The SI 106 of 2024 comes with a new water levy exemption for 2023/2024 rainfall season:
• It applies to irrigation from dams and rivers
• It covers $1 USD/megaliter abstraction fee
• Effective Nov 1, 2023 until further notice.
