The government has started installing Traffic Cameras to discourage and detect traffic violations, senior official has said.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Nick Mangwana says cameras have already been installed at Market Square.
“We are modernizing our enforcement methods in order to make life bearable for citizens.
“Cameras help detect criminal activity as well,” he says.
Street or traffic cameras in some instances has helped investigations during accidents.
