Former ZANU-PF Mbare ‘terror group Chipangano’ leader Jim Kunaka eyeing rural constituency in 2023 polls

Former Zanu PF youth leader Jim Kunaka says he is eyeing a rural constituency in the forthcoming 2023 polls.

Kunaka who attended the swearing in ceremony of City of Harare councillors at Town House yesterday revealed this to the Newshawks.

Kunaka, was also the leader of the Mbare-based Zanu PF militia group Chipangano.

The group used violence to control space and resources in the suburb and persecuted perceived opposition members.

Chipangano was alleged to be in, and under the protection of, Zanu PF, and initially financed by the late ZANU PF MP and politburo member Tendai Savanhu, a charge denied.

The ruling party even denied the group which had became a law onto itself existed.
