The Central Firearm Registry is currently reviewing the Firearms licencing process for individuals and companies, the Zimbabwe Republic Police has said.
ZRP spokesperson Paul Nyathi says the move has been undertaken in view of abuse of firearms by some people.
He added that investigations are underway to verify allegations that some firearms owners are letting their weapons to fall in wrong hands.
