In a heartbreaking incident, farm workers, whose houses were destroyed when they were evicted from Gardner Farm in Harare South are now living in farm fowl runs.
The new management which took over the farm destroyed the houses of the former workers under the supervision of the Zimbabwe Republic Police. The evicted workers were dumped by the roadside with all their belongings.
Following an intervention by the Member of Parliament for Harare South Tongai Mnangagwa (Zanu-PF), the workers were allowed to return to the farm but as the houses had been destroyed, they now had to stay in fowl runs and other makeshift houses.
