Hwange town experienced flash floods yesterday. At least 35 families have been affected by the heavy rains.
Hwange has received 139mm in 3 hours (usually the town receives 50 mm or less per year) resulting in the drainage system being overwhelmed by flash floods, affecting 35 families.
The colliery mine is assisting the affected families to move to safe places.
