Exposed!!! SIX Zanu-PF Youths Led The January Protests…They Burned A Zupco Bus,Looted Shops

On the break out of the #Shutdown Zimbabwe Protests, MDC-A members were fingered as the prime suspects but separating facts from speculation, Six Zanu-PF Youth leaders were also behind the acts of violence during the  Protests.

The six were sentenced to a combined 32 years in prison for burning down a ZUPCO bus but have been released on bail.

According to State Media, the six youth leaders, Emmanuel Chari (25), Miston Siriva (30), Charles Bengeza (28), Shylock Chihuri (25), Noleen Dulana (29) and Rumbidzai Dulana (25) were released on $50 bail byHigh Court judge Justice Edith Mushore after they applied for bail pending appeal against conviction and sentence.

The six had been wallowing in prison since January after they were convicted of burning down a Zupco bus after January protests degenerated into violence. Emmanuel Chari who was leading the crowd and actually drove the bus before burning it was sentenced to 7 years in prison while the rest of his accomplices were sentenced to 5 years in prison each.

After burning the bus, the six led a crowd into ransacking Webcon Supermarket owned by former Cabinet minister and Chegutu East MP Webster Shamu. After ransacking the supermarket, the mob set a Mitsubishi van which was in the car park on fire.
