EU follows up on election recommendations, as Joe Biden demands free, fair polls in 2023

The European Union Election Follow-up Mission (EFM) Chief of Mission Elmar Brok, led a roundtable discussion with Civil Society Organizations (CSO)s in Harare on Wednesday on 2018 election recommendations.

The EFM Zimbabwean team has been in country following up on their 2018 recommendations & and concluded their visit with a press conference.

Meanwhile, the US government through its Embassy in Harare is on record calling for fairness ahead of the much anticipated 2023 polls in Zimbabwe.

The embassy recently called on the Zimbabwe government to study election reports from civil society organisations to set the stage for peaceful and credible national elections that are fully consistent with international standards.
