Zimbabwean football team coach killed by fan over team selection

Clever Muzadzi who was working as Epworth soccer team coach was killed by a supporter after he failed to field in the football club’s best strikers.

Muzadzi died after a soccer fan, Maxwell Munemo knocked him unconscious with a single blow to the throat.

The incident happened during a social match against  ZAOGA Epworth at Chinanga Primary School football grounds.

Munemo appeared before a Harare judge after being arrested and charged with murder.

Many eye witnesses were left shocked by Munemo’s actions as there was no  need to bring top goal scorers as their team was already leading 3-0 when he complained about lack of goals.
The trial continues..
