‘ED’s life still under threat, assassins may strike again’

HARARE: Although the President of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa is metaphorically dubbed to have’ 9 lives’, analysts have dug deep and reviewed that those close to him are out to destroy him and his life will remain under constant threat.

This came to light after the recent bomb attack in Bulawayo which is said to not be the first time that the President’s life has been threatened as there have been multiple attempts on his life over the past five years.

Political analyst Vivid Gwede said the president is clearly not safe and he will have to rely on enhanced security measures as long as the people who are after his life are at large.

“The bombing is a continuation of how Zanu-PF has done its politics since the liberation war, but this time in a very overt way”

‘We have many people whose deaths have never been resolved and are still subjects of speculation, said Gwede”

Media analyst Rashweat Mukundu also said that the bombing is the clearest indication that Zimbabwe’s security remains fragile post the November coup.

Analysts believe Mnangagwa’s life is still under threat as assassins are still at work. daily news
