President Emmerson Mnangagwa left Zimbabwe yesterday afternoon for Maputo to attend the inauguration of Mozambican leader Filipe Nyusi set for today, Wednesday.
The potentially lavish inauguration is expected to be graced by twelve heads of state from across the African continent.
Presidential spokesperson George Charamba confirmed the development in an interview.
Currently on annual leave, Mnangagwa will attend the inauguration as he is the incumbent chairperson of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Co-operation.
