Driver at large after killing 2 people in hit and run accident

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is appealing for information which may lead to the arrest of Evans Vengwa, NR 10-007291-R-10, who is being sought in connection with a hit-and-run fatal road traffic accident which occurred on 22/01/23 along Kadoma Patchway Road.

The victims were taken to Kadoma Hospital where two died upon admission.

The suspect’s last known addresses are 2762 Munhumutapa Kadoma and Mudzimu Village, Nyamapanda. Police is therefore calling on anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station.

In other news, police in Masvingo are investigating a case of armed robbery which occurred at a supermarket in Mashava on 13/03/23 at around 1800 hours.

The suspects stole US$20 472 and ZAR32 800 cash after kidnapping a senior company official to his workplace at Mukuru booth located in a supermarket at Balmain Business Centre.

The suspects attacked the supermarket cashier before forcing the complainant to open the safe.
