latest on Zimbabwean pastor ‘arrested for selling tickets to heaven’

Did Zimbabwe police arrest clergyman ‘Tito Wats’ for selling tickets to heaven??

There is a story doing rounds in major foreign newsrooms of a Zimbabwean church pastor and his wife who were allegedly arrested for selling tickets to heaven.

According to the report, a church leader by the name Tito Wats and his wife were ‘arrested by Zimbabwean security forces’ for tricking congregants to buy golden tickets to heaven for $500 per ticket.

ZwNews.com can reveal that this is fake news.  There is no church leader with that name and no one was arrested  in Zimbabwe for selling tickets to heaven.

Even if a preacher or prophet would sell such tickets, there won’t be grounds to arrest them due to the country’s freedom of religion laws.
