Details for AKA’s memorial, funeral and private burial

The Forbes family has announced that slain South African rapper, AKA, will be laid to rest at a private provincial funeral this Saturday.

In statement on Tuesday, the family said a memorial will be held on Friday at Sandton Convectional Center.

“It is our wish to celebrate the life of Kiernan with those he touched and impacted through his gift of music. His memorial will therefore be open to the public as well as streamed online.

“Kiernan will be laid to rest in a private provincial funeral on Saturday, 18 February 2023.

Limited tickets will be available on web tickets; the memorial will also be live streamed on the AKAWORLDWIDE YouTube page.” reads part of the statement.
