Cyclone Idai struggles….marooned woman gives birth up a tree

These are the struggles that Chimanimani and Zimbabwe will remember for a life-time,   a woman gave birth while perched on a tree branch after flood water induced by Cyclone Idai washed away homes in Chimanimani.

State controlled ZBC News reported that :

Stuck on a tree branch, Tariro Guvakuva of Chimanimani found grace as she was able to deliver her baby while marooned, thanks to the heroic feat of the husband, who immediately assumed the role of a midwife.
