The Chinese Government through its embassy in Harare says the construction of the new Parliament of Zimbabwe building is almost complete.
The Embassy said Zimbabwe’s new six-storey, US$140 million parliament building in Mount Hampden, 18km north-west of Harare, has entered the final stage.
The diplomatic mission also thanked the local technicians for the hard work they rendered to the project.
“With the combined effort from Chinese and Zimbabwean technicians and workers, we have entered the final stage of construction.
“The China-aid Zimbabwe New Parliament Building will be presented to the people of Zimbabwe in the near future,” says the Embassy.
