Civil servants, gvt in crunch meeting over bonuses

An explosive meeting of the National Joint Negotiating Council is penciled for this morning as public sector workers continue pressing their demands for an unconditional 13th cheque and a living wage.

This comes after the government recently announced that bonuses will be paid based on performance ratings of each employee.

But, government workers say such a condition is unfair.
