The ruling Zanu PF Government has today named at least one street in every city and some selected towns after President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Speaking during the 41th post Cabinet briefing today, Minister of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Mangaliso Ndlovu who was the acting Information Minister said Cabinet approved the changes.
Enterprise road in Harare, Chinhoyi-Chegutu highway, Main street in Gweru, Hughes in Masvingo are now called Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa road.
Cabinet has also changed names of several roads across the country naming them after local and regional icons.
Surprisingly, ailing vice president Constatino Chiwenga who played a critical role in the soft coup of toppling the late former president Robert Mugabe has been snubbed together with his military allies.
Some Government buildings were also renamed including Harare Central Hospital to Sally Mugabe.
