Chiwenga in-law Ken Mubaiwa arrested, questioned over “car smuggling operations”

According to a source close to the ongoing developments in the Marry Chiwenga arrest, her father Kenni Mubaiwa was on Wednesday picked by state security agents for questioning and later released.

Yesterday, it was revealed that the former Dynamos chairperson had been arrested.

Though he later denied having been arrested, government sources confirmed that he was indeed taken in for questioning in connection with smuggling of cars into Zimbabwe without paymenyt of customs duty.

Mubaiwa’s daughter Marry who is in the middle of a divorce with the powerful vice President Constantino Chiwenga was arrested on saturday last week and was remanded in custody to the 30th of December.
