Chivhu killer mother found guilty of four counts of murder

Chivhu killer mother, Emelda Marizanhi found guilty of four counts of murder.

She will be sentenced on the 24th of March 2023.

It is the state’s case that Marizanhi poisoned her four children in November 2020 and when she thought they might survive, took a knife and beheaded them.

She also took the same poison trying to kill herself but survived.

In court, she tried to blame her actions on a history of mental illness in her family, but a doctor who examined her found her to be of stable mind.
