Chinhoyi University student dies after being crashed by CUT bus

Tragedy has struck Chinhoyi University of Technology after a student was crashed to death in an accident involving the institution’s bus, zwnews reports.

CUT public relations office has since issued a preliminary statement promising to avail full details in due course after advising the deceased’s next of kin.

“Chinhoyi University of Technology regrets to inform you that an accident occurred at the University involving our male student.

“However,the student has since passed on. We are saddened by the occurrence. Investigations at the University are underway and we will issue another official statement as soon as possible.

“Please do not get hearsay from any other source other than from the Marketing and Public Relations. We will be forthcoming and forthright on this issue,” reads a statement from the PR office.

“We are withholding name of the student until the parents have been informed. We will continuously update you on further developments and arrangements,” further reads the statement.
