One person died while 35 others were injured when a cross border bus overturned 8km out of Chinhoyi along the Chinhoyi – Chegutu road.
The South African bound Juldan Motors bus hit a commuter omnibus which was making a sudden u-turn, before it overturned.
The bus crew members said the driver of the omnibus, who was alone, attempted to make a u-turn without checking for vehicles following behind.
The deceased is a crew member of the bus, and the injured include 33 Zambians, one Zimbabwean and one Malawian.
They are all admitted at Chinhoyi Provincial hospital.
