Chief Mukota of Mudzi killed in horror road accident

Former Mudzi legislator and recently-installed Chief Mukota has died.

Chief Mukota (Newton Kachepa) died at Marondera Hospital from injuries sustained in an accident which occured along the Marondera Musami Road when he lost control of the vehicle he was driving.
Two other people died on the spot.
Mr Kachepa was installed Chief Mukota of Mudzi last month.
He was officially appointed Chief by President Emmerson Mnangagwa with effect from 8 August 2023.
